Good article. You could also consider buying a smaller cake and then complement this with cupcakes or sheet cakes. Definitely the cupcakes are less messy and more affordable.

I have actually seen more and more people opting for wedding cupcake cakes. I think it’s a great idea and is an easy way to distribute the “cake” without having to spend time cutting up the cake for all your wedding guests.
