The ever popular strapless wedding dress still makes the mark. Here featured in exquisite antique lace with or without detachable cap sleeves or embellished with band with contrasting color.
How long or how short your wedding gown hemline is entirely up to you: from floor-length to tea-length and even mini-shirts.
White and ivory are still the popular bridal gown colors, but those are not the only color choice available to you. From blush to champagne to two tone bridal gowns are also in for 2009.

I think it’s great that we’re seeing colors other than ivory and white on bridal gowns. Champagne and blush are attractive colors on brides who are not very fair-skinned. About the shorter gown length, I have yet to see a bride in a gown like that but it’s good to know that there are fashion-forward designers out there like Monique Lhuillier who see these trends and make them available for brides who want options other than what’s traditional. Great post.
Thank you, Henry. Yes, short bridal gowns are not yet commonly favored by brides. The only one I saw worn by a real bride is when I was a witness to a civil wedding ceremony.
